Only the outside of the shoe is waterproof (meaning water will not be able to get inside with splashes, but submerging the whole shoe will still cause water to go inside)

Water that gets in through the ankles may still wet the inside of the shoe.
*submerging the shoes for long periods of time can cause the glue to dissolve. We do not recommend using the shoes for hiking, walking through floods or submerging the shoes in sea water. The shoes are designed for easy cleaning and light rain.

Care Guide: Do not store in direct sunlight.
Gently wipe upper with soapy water for light stains.
Wipe with 50% Baby Oil and 50% Rubbing Alcohol Solution for heavy stains.
